One of the organizers of the great liberation war, founding chairman of Bangladesh AwamiJubo League, Mayor of Dhaka South City Corporation (DSCC) Barrister Sheikh Fazle Noor Taposh paid tributes to his late father Shaheed Sheikh FazlulHaque Moni on his 85th birthday.
Barrister Sheikh Fazle Noor Taposh paid respects to his father Sheikh FazlulHaque Moni by laying wreath at his grave at Banani graveyard on Monday morning.
Among others, Chief Executive officer of the city corporation Mohammad Mizanur Rahman, Secretary Akramuzzaman, General Manager of Transport Haider Ali, Acting Chief Health Officer Dr. FazleShamsulKabir, Chief City Planner Mohammad Sirajul Islam, Councilor of Ward number 25 Anwar Iqbal Sentu, President of Dhaka South City Chhatra League Rajibul Islam Bappi, department heads and regional executive officers of various departments of the Corporation, leaders of Dhaka South City Awami, Jubo League and Chhatra League, were present.
Meanwhile, various programmes have been chalked out throughout the day to celebrate Sheikh FazlulHaque Moni's 85th birthday in a befitting manner.
As a part of this, a memorial meeting and doamahfil were organized on Monday at 3:00 pm in the premises of Nagar Bhaban.
