Tapan Chowdhury goes to Australia

Prominent musician Tapan Chowdhury, a proud musician of Bangladesh, arrived in Dhaka on Wednesday morning after spending time with family in Canada. Right after getting back he left for Australia yesterday afternoon after resting for a couple of days. 

Earlier, Tapan Chowdhury went to Australia for stage shows three or four times. This time he went on to perform at the Chattogram Association in Sydney, Australia for ‘Mezban Festival’. He will be present at the festival on October 27. 

Tapan Chowdhury said, “I am a child of Firingi Bazar in Chattogram. Naturally, I'm proud to sing at this festival. Hopefully, I will be able to sing so that it will be enjoyable for everyone and make everyone happy. As a Bangladeshi, I always take pride in singing outside the country. There is a different type of love entwined in the songs which are in Bangla language. I want to live amidst the love of the audience.”

Tapan Chowdhury said he will return home on October 30. Prominent instrumental artist Ruptanu is accompanying him. Meanwhile, two new songs by Tapan Chowdhury have already been released along with two artistes of this generation, Hoimonti Rakkhit and Sanjida Mahmood Nandita. 

With Hamanti, the song is titled ‘Arale Holei Tumi’. This song is written by Sakhawat Hossain Maruf and Ujjal Sinha made music. The lyrical video of the song has been produced by Biswajit Deb. With Nandita, the song is titled ‘Ei mishit hawa Raate’. The song was written by Mohammad Jahangir Alam and Ujjal Sinha composed the music. The lyrical video for this song has been made by Biswajit Deb.
