Filmmaker Karan Johar who directed Ranbir Kapoor and Anushka Sharma starrer ' Ae Dil Hai Mushkil' is all set to don the director's cap once again for his ambitious project 'Takht'. The film revolves around the Mughal era and features Ranveer Singh, Alia Bhatt, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Anil Kapoor, Vicky Kaushal, Bhumi Pednekar and Janhvi Kapoor in pivotal roles.
Recently, there was a buzz that KJo's 'Takht' has been temporarily delayed, after his production house received a huge setback due to 'Kalank'. But a source who is working on Takht revealed that the team is currently working rigorously to get the research material and everything in place.
The source also said that they have a separate room where they brainstorm and look out for pictures to set up the scenario from the Mughal era.
They are working on how houses were, how the warfare looked like in that era. A source in the report also stated that a huge set will be built in Mumbai and work on that will also begin soon. The source further added that the film will roll out by the end of 2019 or early next year around January 2020.
