Renowned singer and actor Tahsan Khan has responded to social media rumors, clarifying that he never took the BCS exam and that Syed Abed Ali was not his mother's chauffeur.
In a recent statement, Tahsan debunked the speculation, stating, "I have never participated in the BCS examination." He emphasised that allegations linking him to Abed Ali, currently under scrutiny for a question paper leak, are entirely false.
Tahsan, known for his decade-long career in the media industry, denounced the misinformation, asserting, "This is fake news that has sparked unnecessary controversy." His mother, Prof Zeenatun Nesa Tahmida Begum, served as the chairman of the Bangladesh Public Service Commission from 2002 to 2007, while Abed Ali was employed as a driver at the PSC from 1997 to 2014.
The rumors falsely claimed that Tahsan secured top honors in the 24th BCS exam under his mother's tenure, amid ongoing concerns about exam leaks. Authorities have recently arrested 17 individuals, including Abed Ali and three PSC officers, in connection with these leaks.
