Smartphone and Tab Expo (STE), the country’s largest exposition of its kind, will start on July 4, 2019 (Thursday) to bring opportunities for mass people to experience latest innovations in smart devices.
The three-day carnival will continue at Bangabandhu International Conference Centre (BICC) in capital’s Agargaon till July 6. The organisers informed this at a press conference at Pan Pacific Sonargaon Dhaka on Sunday, said a press release.
Event management firm – ExpoMaker is going to organise the 12th edition of the most prestigious gadget carnival in the country.
At the press meet, Sales Director of Huawei Technologies Bangladesh Salahuddin Sanjee, Marketing Manager of Oppo Bangladesh Iftekhar Uddin Sunny, Mobile Product Head of Samsung Fazlul Musawwir Choudhury, Assistant Brand Manager of Vivo Bangladesh Tanzib Ahmed and Head of DX Tel Retail Operations JM Hasan Saif were present at the briefing while ExpoMaker Strategic Planner Muhammad Khan conducted the session.
Salauddin Sanjee said, “There will be hot summer, cool offers. In addition, there will be more offers at the expo.”
Fazlul Musawwir Choudhury said, the brand will offer maximum 50 percent price discount on specific models while the visitors will get the opportunities to experience two new tablets during the fair. The Samsung officials also informed they will set a gaming zone to attract young gamers into the smart carnival.
Iftekhar Uddin Sunny hoped that the company will create a vibe on the expo with new flagship devices from Reno series.
Tanzib Ahmed said, the company will focus on introducing new devices to deal high-end mobile gaming.
Hasan Saif said, the visitors will get opportunities to experience Xiaomi devises with new distribution channel and there will special offer for the customers indeed.
Officials informed that technology lovers will get favorite accessories alongside of smart phone and tablet from the fair. Meanwhile, world renowned brands including– Oppo, Huawei, Samsung, Xiaomi, Vivo and Motorola have confirmed their participation at the expo.
The companies will project and sell smart devices and accessories under one roof. The expo arena will open for all Thursday morning while the formal inauguration is scheduled at 4pm on the day.
Muhammad Khan said the leading local and international smart phone brands will participate at the carnival to project latest technology and design of smart gadget.
Technology lovers will get favorite accessories alongside of smart phone and tablet from the fair, according to the organiser. Participant companies will unveil new products at the expo while the visitors also can compare offers and gifts of all brands under one place as tradition, added Muhammad Khan.
Smartphone brands – Oppo, Samsung and Huawei are the platinum sponsors while DX Tel and Vivo are tagged as gold sponsors for this edition of expo. Motorola named as Silver sponsor and overseas education consulting firm EduMaker will continue partnership to the happening.
There are three platinum-sponsored pavilions, two gold-sponsored pavilions and a silver pavilion for exposing devices specially.
