Sylhet Press Club arranged an Iftar and doa mahfil at the club building at Subidbazar in Sylhet city on Saturday in honour of professionals of different professions and the citizens in the division.
Ikramul Kabir, president of Sylhet Press Club, presided over the program, while its secretary Ikbal Mahmud conducted the function.
Mayor of Sylhet City Corporation Mayor Ariful Haque Chowdhury, former MP Syeda Zebunnesa Haque, Sylhet divisional commissioner Syed Mejbah Uddin, Deputy Commissioner (DC) Kazi Emdadul Islam, Police Super Moniruzzaman, Additional Commissioner of Sylhet Metropolitan Police (SMP) Poritush Gush, SMP media liaison officer Zedan Al Musa and Principal of MAG Osmani Medical College Hospital Dr Murshed Ahmed Chowdhury joined the Iftar mahfil, among others.
