Sylhet police distribute food to 300 families

Sylhet Industrial Police-8 has distributed food items to 300 flood-affected families in of Sunamganj. The food items were distributed at the Shimultala Government Primary School ground on the banks of Surma River in Kalaruka Union of the upazila on Monday afternoon, said Raushanuzzaman, Superintendent of Police, Sylhet Industrial Police-6. Each packet distributed contained rice, pulses, potatoes, chira and food saline.

Meanwhile, OC (Investigation) of Chhatak Police Station Abdul Awal, Sub-Inspector of Sylhet Industrial Police-7 Abdul Jalil, Sub-Inspectors Amir Hossain Sohail, ASI Ratan, ASI Touhid and Mojibur, Constables Saiful, Rajib, Rakib, Imran and Mr. Chhatak Press Club Organizing Secretary Kazi Rezaul Karim Reza, Members Moshahid Ali and Arifur Rahman Manik, UP Member Nurul Haque, Area Liaquat Ali, Shahinur Rahman, Riaz Ali, Rajab Ali, Abdul Hannan. While distributing food items, Superintendent of Police Raushanuzzaman said that almost every district of Sylhet division was devastated by the catastrophic floods. Under the direction of the higher authorities of the police, we continue to distribute food to the flood victims in different areas of Sylhet division. The government is also distributing relief items among the flood victims. He called upon all the rich to stand by the government as well as the flood victims.
