Kishoreganj Muktijoddha Jubo Command has donated a high flow nasal cannula machine at Kishoreganj Shaheed Syed Nazrul Islam Medical College Hospital with the help of Gazi Group.
The machine was handed over at noon on Thursday (August 6) in the conference room of Kishoreganj District Administration with the Deputy Commissioner Md. Sarwar Murshed Chowdhury in the chair.
Earlier, Shaheed Syed Nazrul Islam Medical College and Hospital had six high flow nasal cannula machines. A total of seven machines have been installed in the Medical College Hospital. From now on, 7 critical patients will be able to take service from this machine together.
High flow nasal cannula helps in rapid oxygen production which is capable of supplying 70 liters of oxygen per minute.

Md. Ataur Rahman, District BMA General Secretary Dr. Abdul Wahab Badal, Medical Specialist Dr. Ataur Rahman, Former General Secretary of District Chatra League Md. Ashraf Ali, Leaders of various organs of District Awami League, journalists of print and electronic media, Additional Deputy Commissioner (General) Abdullah-al-Mashud were present in the function.
After the ceremony, Deputy Commissioner, Civil Surgeon and Director of Shaheed Syed Nazrul Islam Medical College Hospital Kishoreganj Muktijoddha Jubo Command Convenor Syed Ashfaqul Islam Titu handed over the high flow nasal cannula machine.
