Swastika Mukherjee is renowned for her acting in both Bangladesh and West Bengal. But her singing voice is not that bad unbeknownst to many. Maybe no one knows Swastika Mukherjee as a singer. However, she is not just an actor anymore rather quite good singer as well.
On June 21, Friday, she released a special song out of respect for her parents titled ‘Amar Praner Pore’. She shared the link of the song through her Twitter account saying, “It’s raining in Kolkata or it seems so. Haven’t revisited the songs that I sang for my parents. Maa wherever you are this is for you. Your favourite one. #worldmusicday Amar Praner Pore” from Amar Mukti Aaloy Aaloy.
But, this is not the first time she has done this. In 2017, she had released an album titled ‘Amar Mukti Aaloy Aaloy’ along with her father Santu Mukherjee. That album too had gotten quite famous with a total of five songs three of which were sung by Swastika and two by her father. That one too was dedicated to swastika’s mother by the father daughter duo.
