The dental unit of Swadhinata Chikitsak Parishad (SWACHIP) arranged a mourning rally and doa mahfil marking the 48th death anniversary of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman and the National Mourning Day.
The mourning rally and doa mahfil was held at a convention centre in the capital on Monday (August 29, 2023).
Vice president of Swadhinata Chikitsak Parishad (SWACHIP) Dr Md Mosharraf Hossain Khandaker Musa presided over the event, while president of Bangladesh Medical Association (BMA) and Awami League’s presidium member Dr Mostafa Jalal Mohiuddin attended the event as the chief guest.
State Minister for Shipping Khalid Mahmud Chowdhury, MP, attended the event as the special guest, while SWACHIP president Dr Jamal Uddin Mohammad Chowdhury and secretary general Prof Dr Kamrul Hasan Milon also spoke on the occasion, among others.
