Sustainable Apparel Forum begins today

The 3rd Sustainable Apparel Forum (SAF) begins today (Tuesday) in Dhaka

The event, organised by the Bangladesh Apparel Exchange (BAE) in partnership with BGMEA will take place at the International Convention City Bashundhara (ICCB ), Dhaka.

The opening plenary of the SAF will be held at 10am.

Md. Atiqul Islam, mayor, Dhaka North City Corporation and former president, BGMEA; Nasrul Hamid, MP, state minister for power, energy and mineral resources; Anne Van Leeuwen, ambassador of the Kingdom of the Netherlands to Bangladesh; Faruque Hassan, president, BGMEA; Stephanie Thiers-Ratcliffe, director, European brands and retailers cotton council international; and Md. Mohiuddin Rubel, director, BGMEA and managing director, Bangladesh Apparel Exchange will attend the session. The closing plenary session will be held in the evening .

Salman F Rahman, MP, adviser to the prime minister on private industry & investment; Tipu Munshi, MP, commerce minister; Begum Monnujan Sufian, MP, state minister for labor and employment; Charles Whiteley, ambassador & head of delegation of the European Union to Bangladesh M.
