The Socialist Student Front and National Student Party have protested the increase in admission fees for the first year of undergraduates in Shahjalal University of Science and Technology (SUST).
On Sunday (January 22), they brought out a procession from Academic Building D of the university. The procession paraded the main roads of the campus and ended at the Gol Chottor area.
In the rally after the procession, various protesters spoke.
They strongly protested the doubling of the admission fee in SUST. This cannot be accepted any way.
The perpetuated and imperialist plot to deprive the marginal people of society from education by increasing the admission fee is being perpetuated.
SUST administration is creating a kind of pressure on the students by doubling the admission fee compared to earlier.
