As a first Bangladeshi world champion of ‘NASA Space apps Chalange-2018’ four Shajalal University of Science and Technology (SUST) students are going on a visit in NASA, USA.
Under the ‘Best Data Utilization’ category the ‘Team Olik’ of SUST became the champion team beating the 1,395 teams around the world on last February.
Under the project, they developed a virtual reality (VR) called ‘Lunar VR’. Using this mobile VR application anyone can experience landing on moon on Apollo-11 and walk around the satellite. In an invitation by NASA, SUST ‘Team Olik’ was asked to attend in NASA before the next 20 July. Where they will be participate in different programme and seminar which will be held on 21, 22 and 23 July.
Earlier, SUST team got the two separate email invitation from NASA.
The winner ‘Team Olik’ members are SM Rafi Adnan, Kazi Mainul Islam, Abu Sabik Mehedy and Sabbir Hasan.
