Yellow sunflowers on green plant, rows of coconut trees on both sides. Smooth paths and green grassy edges. Thousands of people are rushing to enjoy the beautiful scenery of nature with yellow and green. Some are having a picnic, some are taking pictures and some are enjoying the immense beauty.

It was talking about the Amzhupi seed production farm along the Meherpur-Chuadanga main road, 5 kilometers east of Meherpur town . In this farm, crops are cultivated for the production of seeds of various vegetables, but different levels are added during the sunflower season. At the beginning of January, thousands of visitors rush there when the sunflowers bloom.

In the Amjhupi seed production farm under BADC, the department has cultivated sunflower in two plots on 7 acres of land in the current season. Although cultivated for seed production, the farm has become

the center of interest for nature lovers due to the beauty of flowers. Thousands of people from the district and outside the district are coming to the farm every day.

On Saturday, during the government's six-day visit to the Amjhupi seed production farm, it was seen that people of different ages had gathered there. Some are busy taking pictures, some are making videos, some are exploring the whole area with their families. TTC Principal Arif Hussain Talukder and his teachers are coming with their families, spoke to him, he said, there is no such big sunflower garden in Meherpur or any surrounding district. The flowers are blooming on the plants, it's nice to see. We brought the family along, along with the cooking equipment.

We will be there all day.

18 friends including Momin, Jihan, Tuhin, Runa, Seema from Chuadanga Government College have come to visit. They said, I planned to come here after seeing it on Facebook. We are friends. Much more beautiful than what I saw on Facebook.

Due to the influx of visitors, there are temporary restaurants, fuska, chatapti and tea shops. There are also professional photographers. They will take your beautiful picture if you want.

Amirul Islam, guard of the farm, said that every day thousands of people gather to see this flower garden. Even with 5 guards, they have to suffer. Males and females of different ages gather from the beginning of flowering. Men and women of different ages come here for fun. Many a times fields are damaged due to taking selfies and pictures inside the field. Still, coming here for entertainment has to endure a bit.

Abu Taher Sardar, Deputy Assistant Director of Meherpur Amzhupi Seed Farm, said that sunflower seeds are exported not only to Bangladesh but also abroad. This cultivation initiative has been taken to meet the demand of sunflower oil and seeds. The garden is overcrowded with visitors as there is less space for recreation. Coming here, many people are encouraged to cultivate sunflowers.
