Many have composed songs in tribute to Ayub Bachchu. However, singer-songwriter and music director Suman Kalyan created a different contextual song based on the music of legendary maestro. The song is produced through compiling songs from the Nineties by Ayub Bachchu. Rafiuzzaman Rafi has written the song: ‘Ghor Chhara Ek Shukhi Chhele, Ferari Ek Mon Niye, Hariye Gelo Kichu Na Bole’. Besides giving voice to the song, Suman Kalyan has composed the melody.
The video of the song was posted on Bangla Dhol’s YouTube channel on the occasion of Ayub Bachchu’s first death anniversary at 12am. This video was created with different images of Ayub Bachchu and Sumon Kalyan.
About this, Suman Kalyan said, “My relationship with Bachchu is different. It is like the relationship of Guru and disciple. His music is intertwined with every moment of my song. Earlier, I have sung about many people. It took a long time to do this song. From a place of respect and love, I made a song about Bachchu bhai. He has my prayers.”
