Abdul Hannan has joined Sujanagar Police Station as the new Officer-in-Charge (OC). In an order signed by Pabna Superintendent of Police Mohammad Mahibul Islam Khan appointed Abdul Hannan as the new Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Sujanagar Police Station, replacing former OC Mizanur Rahman. He has already taken charge of Sujanagar Police Station on Friday.
Earlier, OC Abdul Hannan was working as OC of Pabna DB Police. He first joined the police force in 2003 in 27 batches. His village home is in Nazirpur of Pirojpur district.
After joining the police station, he expressed his determination to establish Sujanagar as an ideal and safe area. Later, in an exchange of views with local journalists, he said, “My first task will be to present myself as a symbol of confidence of the people.”
He also sought the cooperation of all to keep the police service and law and order situation normal as well as prevent drug, gambling, child marriage and eve-teasing.
President of Sujanagar Press Club Shahjahan Ali, General Secretary MA Alim Ripon and other journalists were present at the meeting.
