Dhaka Shiksha Board Laboratory School & College has achieved excellence in the National Education Week 2023. Students of the educational institution secured the first position at the thana-level in 14 categories.
The prize distribution ceremony of National Education Week-2023 was held at the auditorium of Dhaka Shiksha Board Laboratory School & College in the capital on May 17.
Dhaka District Education Officer Md. Abul Kalam Azad was present as the chief guest. Principal of the college Mohd. Asaduzzaman attended the event as special guest with Shah Ali Thana Secondary Education Officer Rabeya Shirin in the chair.
Teachers and students of different schools, colleges and madrasas of Shah Ali Thana were present on the occasion.
Anindyabrata Sen, a secondary-level student of the Dhaka Shiksha Board Laboratory School & College, has won the best student award at the thana level. Besides, the students of the educational intuition who secured the first position in different categories at the secondary and higher secondary level at Shah Ali Thana, are Ahmed Zarif in reciting the Holy Quran, BM Farhan Neer and Imrul Jahan in Bengali essay competition, Ahmed Zarif in Hamd and Nat, Farzana Faiz in the solo speech, Tasmia Alam Oishi of 11th grade in the English essay competition, Tabassum Eti in dance, Saurabh Khan in Rabindra Sangeet, Fatiha Mustari in Nazrul Sangeet, Alisha Mahzabin in folk music competition, Jannatul Ferdous Isika of 12th grade in Hamd and Nat (Group-C) and Md. Eltas Uddin in scout.
Md. Monirul Islam was adjudged the best scout teacher at the thana level.
