The first-look poster of Raj Chakraborty’s ‘Parineeta’ has already created ripples on social media. This is the first time Subhashree Ganguly will be seen sharing the screen with Ritwick Chakraborty and Raj ensures Subhashree’s first film post marriage will give the audience enough surprise, especially his wife’s character Mehul which has loads of shades.
“So far people have seen Subhashree more of a glamorous heroine who is quite fabulous in dancing. But this is wrong, I thing Subhashree has been under-utilised. People will see her in a new light in ‘Parineeta’. I have explored a different side of her in this film,” assures Raj.
The ‘Adventures of Jojo’ director also adds, “Subhashree’s strong point is the depth in her acting. You would be surprised to see her in ‘Parineeta’. She is so realistic here. Her character Mehul has a lot of shades. The interesting part is sometimes we had shot different parts of Mehul’s life on the same day and Subhashree did it with ease.”
‘Parineeta’ also stars Gaurav Chakrabarty, Adrit Roy and Falaque Rashid Roy in pivotal roles. Arko Provo Mukherjee has scored the music for the Raj Chakraborty directorial which will hit the screen in August.
