The Study in Malaysia Education Fair is set to take place in three major cities of Bangladesh — Dhaka, Khulna, and Chattogram — offering students and parents a valuable opportunity to connect directly with top Malaysian universities.

Organized by Education Malaysia Global Services (EMGS), the fair aims to strengthen academic collaboration and highlight Malaysia as a preferred international study destination. Details of the event were announced at a networking lunch and press briefing held on Tuesday at Gulshan Club in the capital.

The High Commissioner of Malaysia to Bangladesh attended the event alongside EMGS officials and representatives from local organizer Knowledge Hub Bangladesh. They noted that the fair will open doors for Bangladeshi students to access affordable, globally recognized undergraduate and postgraduate programs in fields like engineering, medicine, business, and IT.

The fair will be held on July 18-19 at Hotel Sarina in Dhaka, July 21 at Hotel Castle Salam in Khulna, and July 24 at The Peninsula in Chattogram.

Leading Malaysian institutions including Universiti Malaya, Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia, Universiti Teknologi Malaysia, Asia Pacific University, UCSI University, and several others will participate.

Ahead of the fair, a special event will be held on July 17 at UGC Bhaban, where the Malaysian High Commissioner, senior University Grants Commission officials, and Bangladeshi academic leaders will discuss potential academic partnerships and faculty exchange initiatives.

EMGS has invited students, parents, and education enthusiasts to attend the fair and explore Malaysia’s higher education opportunities, meet university representatives, and even secure conditional offer letters on the spot.
