Students should be soldiers of Sheikh Hasina with Bangabandhu’s ideals in mind: BDU VC

Vice Chancellor of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman Digital University Bangladesh, Prof Dr Munaz Ahmed Noor has urged the students to be loyal soldiers of Bangabandhu's daughter Sheikh Hasina keeping in mind the ideals of Bangabandhu.

The call was made in his keynote address at the Meet with VC program organized by Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman Digital University Bangladesh on Tuesday afternoon. The VC welcomed the students admitted in the first year undergraduate honours class (Department of Information and Communication Technology and Department of Education) in the 2020-2021 academic year by distributing flowers and various gift items on the occasion.

He said that various subjects and courses of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman Digital University Bangladesh have been designed keeping in view the Fourth Industrial Revolution. 

Institutional e-mail is provided to each student at the time of admission. The entire educational activities of the university are conducted through LMS which is created under the supervision of the university. Is provided through the app. 

Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman Digital University Bangladesh has started these facilities in the public universities of Bangladesh for the first time.

Speaking on the occasion, the VC called upon the students to acquire the skills of the Fourth Industrial Revolution and said, "We do not know what future education or employment will look like. So from now on we have to learn, un-learn and re-learn. That is why every student should have knowledge about metagonination.

Registrar (Additional Responsibilities) of the University Mohammad Ashraf Uddin, Head of the Department of Information and Communication Technology (Acting) Farzana Akter, Head of the Department of Education (Additional Responsibilities) Mohammad Ashrafuzzaman also spoke on the occasion.

Senior system analyst Muhammad Shahinul Kabir, Assistant Professor of Information and Communication Technology Samsuddin Ahmed and other teachers, students and staff of the university were present on the occasion.
