Students were seen working to decongest the roads in several important areas, including Khulna Road intersection, Pakapole intersection, Judge Court intersection, Sadar Hospital intersection, SP Bungalow intersection and Baro Bazar road in the district town in the morning. In addition, the students of anti-discrimination student movement are conducting cleanliness programmes in different areas.

The students said common people were suffering a lot due to severe traffic jam in the absence of traffic police in the town, so they are working to decongest the important roads. During the quota movement, there were incidents of chases and counter- chases in different parts of the town. Garbage scattered in various parts of the city is cleaned and deposited in municipal garbage heaps. The students said this programme will continue.

On August 5, Sheikh Hasina resigned from the post of prime minister in the face of student-public movement and fled to India. When the news of her resignation spread, excitement was created throughout Satkhira district. There are currently no policemen in local police stations. Ansar members are currently performing duties there.
