Munshiganj district unit of Bangladesh Mahila Parishad formed a human in front of the Munshiganj Press Club on Sunday protesting the ongoing rape, murder and violence against the women and children across the country. The women’s body also demanded exemplary punishment of the killers of Feni madrasa girl Nusrat Jahan Rafi.
President of district committee of the Mahila Parishad Advocate Nasima Akhter presided over the human chain.
Junior Sector Specialist of District Sexual Harassment Eradication Network Fouzia Yeasmin expressed solidarity with the human chain on behalf of BRAC. Munshiganj Press Club, National Online Press Club of Munshiganj district, along with several government and private institutes and people from all walks of life also expressed solidarity with the movement.
