Primary and Mass Education adviser Dr Bidhan Ranjan Roy Podder said there are no separate projects for children in river erosion-affected areas. Officials will be instructed to gather statistics on children from these areas, and efforts will be made to ensure that children in these regions do not fall behind in their education.
The adviser made these comments while talking to journalists during his visit to the Model Government Primary School in Tangail city on Thursday morning.
He further said that there are many causes and solutions for children dropping out of school. However, from a distance, it's difficult to fully understand the situation. Therefore, we need to consult with locals and assess the circumstances in order to find alternative solutions.
Earlier, Primary and Mass Education adviser inspected the school’s activities, engaged with students on various topics, and conducted class tests.
Deputy Commissioner of Tangail, Sharifa Haque, and Headmistress Taslima Jahan of Model Government Primary School, along with officials from the District Commissioner’s office and school staff, were also present.
