A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed on Wednesday between Step Footwear, the country’s leading footwear brand, and Ibn Sina Trust.
The primary objective of the agreement is to ensure improved, high-quality, and affordable healthcare services for Step Footwear employees.
The agreement was formally signed at a ceremony held at Step Footwear’s head office in Uttara, Dhaka. On behalf of their respective organizations, Step Footwear Managing Director Shamim Kabir and Ibn Sina Trust AGM (Business Development) Niaz Makhdum Shibli signed the MoU.
The ceremony was attended by Step Footwear CEO Aminul Islam Shamim, Head of Human Resources Mohammad Afzal Hossain, and Ibn Sina Trust Admin Manager Zakir Hossain, Business Development In-Charge Mohammad Masud, along with senior officials from both organizations.
At the agreement signing ceremony, Step Footwear Managing Director Shamim Kabir said, “Step Footwear has always placed the highest importance on the welfare and human values of its employees. This MoU with Ibn Sina Trust marks an important step toward ensuring improved and affordable healthcare services for our workforce. ”
At the signing ceremony, representatives of Ibn Sina Trust said, “We are pleased to partner with one of the country’s leading footwear brands in ensuring healthcare support for its employees. This collaboration between the two organizations will open new avenues for effective and long-term cooperation in corporate healthcare. ”
