Star Cineplex, the country's first multiplex cinema hall, has made started its 16th year last October 8 after crossing 15 years of successfully entertaining the people through screening the hit Dhallywood, Bollywood and Hollywood films. They are opening a new multiplex for the audiences delight.
Star Cineplex is the new multiplex cinema hall to be launched at the newly built SKS (Shena Kalyan Songstha) tower in Mohakhali on October 19. It will be inaugurated on the evening of October 19 with a grand opening ceremony.
From October 20, viewers will be able to watch movies here. This is the third branch of Star Cineplex. Earlier, a second branch has been opened at Dhanmondi's Shimanto Square (formerly Rifles Square).
There are a total of three halls here. Cineplex's senior manager, marketing and media Mesbah Uddin Ahmed said the halls were built with all the amenities of a world-class cinema hall with the latest technology, sound system and giant screens.
In this regard, Star Cineplex Chairman Mahbub Rahman Ruhel said, “We are delighted that we are going to launch another multiplex cinema hall in Dhaka. Hopefully this will add a new dimension to the visitors of Mohakhali and its surroundings. In fact, the love of the audience inspires us. We have wanted to give the country a new environment for watching movies from the beginning. This is the continuation of our effort. We have plans to build 20 more multiplexes and 100 multiplexes nationwide. ”
