He added that the Bashundhara authorities had reconsidered their decision after seeing the response and love from the people. It is to be mentioned that the path of Star Cineplex started in 2004 at Bashundhara City Shopping Mall in Panthapath, the heart of the capital. At present they have multiplexes in three more places in the capital. Besides the two branches at Dhanmondi’s Shimanto Square and SKS Tower in Mohakhali, another multiplex is awaiting inauguration in Mirpur.
