Standard Bank Limited, Shari`ah Based bank, has won Silver Award in Islami Banking category at “10th ICSB National Award for Corporate Governance Excellence 2022”.
The Institute of Chartered Secretaries of Bangladesh (ICSB) honors the bank with the award in recognition of establishing corporate governance, fully complying with shari`ah in banking operation and ensuring discipline, transparency & accountability in the overall management of the bank.
Md. Habibur Rahman, Managing Director & CEO and Md. Ali Reza FCMA, CIPA, CFO & Acting Company Secretary of Standard Bank; received the Award from the Chief Guest TapanKanti Ghosh, Senior Secretary, Ministry of Commerce, Bangladesh Government at an award giving ceremony held at Radisson Blu Dhaka Water Garden on October14.
Md. AsadUllah FCS, President of ICSB and senior officials were also present in the event.
