Standard Chartered Bangladesh has appointed Idrissa Kamara as Chief Financial Officer (CFO).
With over three decades of experience as a finance and enterprise leader, Idrissa brings deep expertise and a proven track record across diverse geographies.
He began his journey with Standard Chartered in Sierra Leone in 2003, progressing through senior finance roles including CFO.
In 2013, he became Managing Director and CEO of Sierra Leone Commercial Bank (largest bank in Sierra Leone) before rejoining Standard Chartered in 2015 as CEO for Sierra Leone. Most recently, he served as CEO for Standard Chartered Cameroon, where he played a key leadership role in the Bank’s transformation initiative, Project Crown.
