SSC form fill-up deadline extended until May 29

The Dhaka Board of Intermediate and Secondary education has extended the date for the examinees to fill up the SSC examination forms. 

Candidates will be able to start filling up the forms from 22nd to 29th May without any delay fee.

In this context, the Dhaka Board issued a notification on Thursday (May 6).

In addition, educational institutions have been warned not to charge extra fees for filling up forms.

According to the board, the scheduled date of filling up forms has been completed from April 1 to April 7. But many cannot complete the process due to the surge of Covid-19 pandemic. Therefore, an extended schedule has been set for filling up the online form without any delay fee. The last date for submission of fees online by the educational institutions is 30 May.

The board further said that there is no opportunity to collect any additional fee excluding the fixed amount. 

Strict action will be taken if any allegation of extra fee is found.

A maximum of Tk 1,970 for students from Science while a maximum of Tk 1,850 for both Business Studies and Humanities have been set as the regular fee to sit in the SSC examination.

In addition, in case of irregular students and GPA improvement, Tk 100 per examinee has been fixed.

Moreover, the board has set Tk 100 as letter fee for each letter, Tk 30 per letter as practical fee, Tk 35 for academic transcript fee, Tk 100 for original certificate, Tk 15 for Boy Scout and Girl Guide fee and Tk 5 for National Education for every student.
