SSC examinations of 2021 will be taken in all the centers in compliance with the health guidelines, according to the Dhaka Board of Education. Therefore, the application for setting up and changing the examination centres has already started.

A statement issued by the board on Monday said that all the centers listed for the SSC examinations of 2021 will have to take the tests in compliance with the Covid-19 health protocols.

An application written or printed on the institute's own pad with the necessary documents has to be submitted to the board's examination Controller by June 30 for changing and setting up a new center. But, as said, Non-MPO organisations operating in rented buildings cannot apply for a new center.

An institute has to deposit Tk 3,000 (non-refundable) for new center and Tk 1,000 (non-refundable) for change of center, through Sonali Bank. Fee submission slip must be submitted along with the application copy.

Meanwhile, Professor Nehal Ahmed, Chairman of the Dhaka Board as well as of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education, on Monday said, “It is not yet certain when the examinations will take place but we have all kinds of preparations. We will take a decision when the situation gets better.”

A short syllabus for SSC examinations was published a few months ago. Education Minister Dr Dipu Moni later said that SSC examinations will be taken after 60 classes while HSC exams will be taken after 84 classes after the opening of the educational institutions.
