Srabanti had a gala time shooting for Haranath Chakraborty’s film Bhootchakro Private Limited. “I love horror films. So I loved being a part of it,” said the actor, who is busy doing up her new house.

The film revolves around three friends, Amit, Nimo and Bony, who discover a strange looking machine from a dilapidated ancestral house of Amit. It is called ‘Bhootchakro’. This machine was used as a device to communicate with and hunt for ghosts for different purposes in the 19th century by a man named Radhamohan.

Radhamohan was a great grandfather of Amit. So, Amit, Nimo and Bony decide to use this machine to fake hunting ghosts as a business, knowing fully well that they do not know how to operate this machine and at the same time they are very much afraid of ghosts.

Amit, Bony and Nimo place an advertisement in a channel, stating that they are capable of hunting Ghosts with the help of Bhootchakro. They even fabricate a story about a stammering wagon-breaker who has become a minister by taking their help. Coincidentally, a minister, who was really a wagon-breaker earlier in his life, watches the advertisement and start chasing the trio. The situation is such that these three friends must leave Kolkata in order to save their lives. At this point, a lady named Ranja Sen from Shantiniketan call them for professional help as her family is suffering from strange paranormal activities in her house ‘Sesher Kabita’. What happens next is something to look out for.
