One of the popular actresses of present times Orchita Sporshia starring thriller web series titled ‘Nikhoj’, directed by Reehan Rahman will be released on March 17 on the streaming platform Chorki.
Recently the streaming site has released the teaser of the upcoming series on their official Facebook page. The story revolves around the mysterious disappearance of Shafia’s father Mr Faruk Ahmed who was taken by a group of unknown people who addressed themselves as police and took him away. After that incident months passed, years passed but they couldn’t find Faruk and then Shafia started searching for her missing father. This web series has a tragic story of family drama and thriller genre. Sporshia will be seen playing the role of one of the characters in the 6-episode star-studded series as Shafia.
Afsana Mimi will make her debut in the web world through this web series. Along with them, Shatabdi Wadud, Intekhab Dinar, Shamol Mawla, Khairul Basar, Shilpi Sarkar Apu, Deepanwita Martin, Masum Rezwan and many others will be seen as well.
Although director Reehan Rahman has made web fiction and TVC before, 'Nikhoj' is his first web series. Regarding the context he said, "I tried to tell a different story". I really enjoyed working with so many talented actors and actresses together. I hope the audience will like trying to tell this different story.
