On the occasion of World Health Day 2026 and Bengali New Year 1433, a day-long free medical camp and discussion session was held this morning at the premises of J.S. Grammar High School in Mugda, Dhaka. The event was organized by SSED Foundation in collaboration with “Nirapod Chikitsa Chai (NICHICHA)”.
Through this initiative, free healthcare services were provided to underprivileged children, their guardians, and members of the local community. The primary objective of the camp was to raise awareness about basic child health protection, provide guidance on preventing the recent spread of measles, and promote overall health awareness.
The day-long program included awareness discussions, health consultation sessions, and dissemination of essential health information. Under the supervision of specialist doctors, participants received health check-ups, medical advice, and necessary medicines free of cost. Special emphasis was placed on educating guardians about child nutrition, hygiene, and the prevention of infectious diseases.

The organizers stated that such initiatives play a vital role in ensuring accessible and quality healthcare for marginalized communities, while also increasing health awareness. They expressed their commitment to continuing such humanitarian efforts in the future.
