Special arrangement on TV for National Mourning Day

Channel-i

On the occasion of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman’s death anniversary and National Mourning Day the programmes on Channel-i will start at 7:30 am on Channel-i with a live broadcast of ‘Gan Diye Shuru’. Folk artist Fakir Alamgir will take part in this episode directed by Mostafizur Rahman Nantu. Then at 12:35 pm there is a special episode of Tarakakathan directed by Ananya Ruma.

The Bengali film ‘Raja Surjo Khan’ will be screened at 3:05 pm. Fl. Lt. (Retd.) Gazi Mahbub has directed the film in the story and dialogue of SA Sultan. The film is compiled by Amjad Hossain. The film stars Sohel Rana, Ujwal, Kabari, Purnima, Maruf, Nirab and others. A special episode of ‘Mrityunjayi Mujib’, planned and presented by Nasiruddin Yusuf, will be aired at 6:10 pm. The special drama ‘Protirodh Juddhe Dui Bir’ based on Shahid Rahman’s story ‘Mohamanober Deshe’ will be broadcast at 7:50 pm. It was dramatized and directed by Abu Hayat Mahmud. Sheikh Siraj’s special report ‘Mati O Manusher Moha Neta’ will be shown at 9:40 pm, planned, presented and directed by Sheikh Siraj.

Ekushey Television

On the occasion of National Mourning Day on Ekushey Television has presented the children’s special program ‘Bangabandhur Golpo Shuno’ will be broadcast at 10.30 am. A special program ‘Chiranjib Bangabandhu’ will be broadcast at 11:15 am. 

The special drama ‘Mriter Attohotta’ will be broadcast at 12 noon. Abul Fazal’s story ‘Mriter Attohotta’ has been staged by Masum Reza and directed by Golam Sohrab Dodul.

The drama stars Tareen Jahan, Shatabdi Wadud, Sushoma Sarkar, Master Turjo and Iresh Zaker in a special role. The special concert ‘Rakteveja 15th August’ will be broadcast at 1 pm. The special drama ‘Sekendar Alir Cheque’ will be broadcast at 8 pm. The drama is written by Manosh Pal, scripted and directed by Saidul Islam Rana. Arman Parvez Murad, Golam Farida Chhanda, Sanjida Mitu, Pranab Ghosh and others have acted in different roles in the drama. Presented by Piyush Bandyopadhyay and produced by Rezaul Karim Reza, the special program ‘Shoker Padabali Shaktir Padabali’ will be aired at 9.30 pm. Retired Judge (Appellate Division) Shamsuddin Haider Manik will be in the studio as a guest on the occasion and journalist and political analyst Abdul Gaffar Chowdhury will be added virtually.

The special documentary ‘Mrityunjayi Pran’ will be aired at 8:02 am. ‘Kobitay Bangabandhu’ will be broadcast at 8.40 am. Artists will participate in it: Syed Hasan Imam, Arman Parvez Murad, Munria Yusuf Mami, Azizul Hakmi and others.

At 8:55 am, the solo drama ‘Tokhon Pochattor’; Composition: Sahadi Rahman, Directed by: Abu Hayat Mahmud; acted by Raisul Islam Asad, Ramlia Sravanti Kar, Runa Khan and others. 

Docudrama ‘Hasnia a Daughter’s Tale’ will be aired at 2:10 pm.

At 5 pm ‘Bangabandhur Danlipi; Presentation: Iqbal Khorshade; Participation: Laila Afroz, Rafqul Islam, Rajenia Wali Laniya; Producer: Shamsuddin Mithu.

 At 5:30 special music programme ‘Hridoye Bangabandhu’, Presentation: Mahdiul Islam, Apu Aman, Ronti Das.

8pm drama ‘Mahanayak’ on the occasion of the birth centenary of father Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujbur Rahman; Written and directed by: Sumon Anwar; Actors: Turkey Anam Khan, Abdun Noor Sajal, Salha Khanam Nadia and others.

Maasranga Television

The children’s film ‘Amader Bangabandhu’ will be screened at 7 pm.

Documentary on Bangabandhu’s assassination at 6:30 pm: ‘Roktakto 15 August’ Planning and presentation - Rashed Ahmed

Special telefilm at 8:30 pm - Aroj Ali Dakat. Directed by Borno Nath. Starring- Gazi Rakayet, Farzana movie etc.

A special recitation will be broadcast at 10:30 pm: Bangabandhuke NIbedito Ponktimala. Participating - Ashraful Alam, Mahidul Islam, Masuduzzaman, Nayla Kakli. Special concert at 11 pm: ‘With Bangabandhu’. Presentation- Sujay Shyam.
