The 61st Trustee Board Meeting of Southern University Bangladesh was recently held in the conference room on the university permanent campus in Chattogram. Chairman of the Southern University Board of Trustees, Industrialist Khalilur Rahman presided over the meeting.
Among others Professor Sarwar Jahan, Entrepreneur and Founder of Southern University, Vice Chairman of the Board Md. Liaquat Ali Chowdhury, Alhaj Shafiq Uddin, founding members of the Board of Trustees Abdus Salam, Mamun Salam, Prof. Dr. Israt Jahan and Vice-Chancellor Prof. Engineer M. Ali Ashraf were present at the meeting.
Professor Sarwar Jahan highlighted the overall functioning of the meeting and the overall situation of the university in front of the members present. The keynote discussed various issues including approval of the proposals of the last meeting and overall improvement of the university. All present expressed their hope of working unitedly in the future to lead the University to greater success.
