Song about Bangabandhu to celebrate March 7

Dhruba Music Station has paid tributes to Father of the Nation on the occasion of the historic 7th March. With a song titled “Amader School” (Our School), they expressed their respect. Penned and music designed by Michil Bangabashi, the song “Amader school is arranged by Ibrar Tipu. SI Tutul, Akhi Alamgir, Ibarra Tipu, Michil Bangabashi and Bindukana has lent their voice to the song.

Soumitra Ghosh Emon directed the video for the song. On this day in 1971, Bangabandhu Mujib delivered his historic speech before several hundred thousands of people at the Race Course Maidan in Dhaka. In his historic address, Sheikh Mujib declared, ‘Ebarer Sangram Amader Muktir Sangram, Ebarer Sangram Swadhinatar Sangram’ (The struggle this time is for our emancipation, the struggle this time is for the independence).

Regarding the song, DMS Director and Musician Dhruba Guha said, "Our School" is basically a song of consciousness. Bangabandhu, 7 March and Independence are synonymous forms of the three words, Independent Sovereign Bangladesh. Bangabandhu is in our thought and mind. This topic is the subject of the song.” Dhruba Music Station will release the song today in their YouTube channel.
