The final game of the football tournament was held in Jamalpur's Sarishabari to keep the youth society free from drugs, terrorism and militancy. This final football tournament was organized by Chaparkona Diganta Sporting Club at Chaparkona Mahesh Chandra High School ground of Doyale Union of Upazila on Saturday afternoon.
The tournament was inaugurated by Fazlul Haque, member of Central A-League's Agriculture and Co-operative Sub-Committee, former Student League leader and president of Chaparkona Maheshchandra High School Management Committee.
Sonamui Football Club of Bhuapur and Haji Salma Football Club of Pogaldigha participated in the tournament. Thousands of enthusiastic people from different upazilas come to watch the football tournament. The game was managed by Liton Miah of Tangail.
Upazila Awami League President Alhaj Shanuar Hosen Badha, Police Station Officer-in-Charge (OC) Muhammad Mohabbat Kabir, Bittara Union Chairman Farid Uddin, Doyale UP Chairman Abdur Razzak Swapan, Upazila Awami League Member Moinul Islam Moynal were present as the refereesLocal leaders. including Mohammad Rubel Sarkar.Sonamui Football Club in the final game.
Haji Chalma beat the Football Club 2-0. At the end of the game, the guests gave runner 110 cc motorcycle as prize to Sonamui Football Club team and runner 80 cc motorcycle to runnersup team as prize.
