Sonali Life Insurance organizes “Career Guide Special Training” in Jeshore

Sonali Life Insurance Company Limited has successfully conducted a day-long professional training program titled “Career Guide Special Training” at the Jashore Shilpakala Academy, aiming to strengthen workforce capabilities and drive sustainable business growth.

The training brought together branch managers from across the Khulna Division and focused on enhancing professional competencies, effective career planning, and improving operational efficiency at the field level.

Director  Mostafa Kamrus Sobhan attended the program as the chief guest. Director Mr. Sheikh Mohammad Daniel delivered his address as the chief speaker, while acting chief executive officer (CEO) Rafiqul Islam joined as the keynote speaker, highlighting strategic priorities and future growth directions of the company.

Among the distinguished attendees were Deputy Managing Director Mohammad Golam Mostafa, Assistant Managing Directors  Anupam Das and Emdadul Haque Sahil, and AGM Md. Obaidur Rahman Mondol. In addition, branch managers, unit managers, and financial associates from the Khulna Territory actively participated in the session.

The program commenced at 9:00 AM and was facilitated by Assistant Managing Director Emdadul Haque Sahil, who led interactive sessions on career development, performance strategies, and team leadership.

Sonali Life Insurance is currently serving more than 62,000 policyholders through its 15 branch offices in the Khulna Division. As of March 2026, the division recorded approximately BDT 12 crore in combined first-year and renewal premiums, while total premium income in 2025 exceeded BDT 45 crore. During the same period, claim settlements reached nearly BDT 5 crore, compared to over BDT 15 crore disbursed in 2025.

The division has a strong workforce of 7,099 field personnel, including 257 newly recruited professionals as of March 2026, ensuring continuous and quality customer service delivery.

At the national level, the company has demonstrated consistent performance in claim settlements, disbursing over BDT 45 crores in 2023, BDT 150 crores in 2024, and BDT 432 crores in 2025. As of March 2026, nearly 100 crore BDT have already been settled as insurance claims.

Company officials expressed confidence that such initiatives will further strengthen human resource capabilities and sustain the company’s growth momentum in the coming years.
