Sonali Life Insurance PLC has entered into a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with STS Holdings Limited, operator of Evercare Hospital Dhaka, to facilitate enhanced healthcare services for Sonali Life’s policyholders, employees, and authorized beneficiaries.

The partnership represents a new step in Sonali Life’s commitment to customer-centric service, combining financial protection with greater access to quality healthcare.

Under the MoU, eligible beneficiaries will be able to access Evercare Hospital Dhaka’s comprehensive healthcare facilities, including inpatient and outpatient services, specialist consultations, diagnostic and laboratory tests, hospital admission and treatment coordination, 24-hour ambulance services, pharmacy services, home healthcare, and emergency assistance through a dedicated hotline.

Beneficiaries will also receive coordinated support through Evercare Hospital Dhaka’s corporate support desk, including priority appointments, patient assistance, and treatment coordination.

Md. Rafiqul Islam, Acting Chief Executive Officer of Sonali Life Insurance PLC, said, “This partnership reflects our commitment to going beyond traditional insurance services and ensuring greater value for our customers. By facilitating access to quality healthcare, we aim to provide meaningful support when our policyholders need it most.”

Director Fauzia Qamrun Tania said, “True customer care means being there for our policyholders beyond financial protection. This partnership will help connect them with quality healthcare services and reinforce our commitment to their overall well-being.”

Director Sheikh Mohammad Danial said, ““We are embarking on a journey to create a health insurance ecosystem that is genuinely centred around the needs of our policyholders. Our partnership with STS Holdings and Evercare Hospital is a foundational step in that journey. We want our policyholders to have greater confidence that when they need healthcare, their insurance can connect them to quality providers with greater efficiency and less uncertainty.”

He added, “Our ambition goes beyond simply providing health insurance coverage. We want to bring together healthcare providers, technology, data and efficient service delivery to create a better experience for our policyholders. We will continue to invest in technology and build partnerships that allow us to improve healthcare access while maintaining efficiency and responsible cost management.”

As part of its broader health insurance strategy, Sonali Life is also developing an innovative health kiosk initiative, designed to support faster, more reliable and efficient health service management for policyholders. The initiative is intended to use technology to improve access to healthcare services, facilitate information management and reduce unnecessary delays in the healthcare journey.
