Sonali Bank Limited arranged a discussion meeting on virtual platform marking the national mourning day to remember father of the nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman and his family members.
Chairman, Board of Directors of Sonali Bank, Ziaul Hasan Siddiqui attended the event as chief guest while CEO and Managing Director Md Ataur Rahman Prodhan presided over the discussion, held at the conference room at head office on Saturday.
Ziaul Hasan Siddqui urged all officers and employees of the bank to work relentlessly to build a poverty and hunger-free happy and prosperous Bangladesh. Md Ataur Rahman Prodhan said Bangabandhu always carried his dream for people.
Officers and employees of all offices and branches across the country virtually joined the discussion. One minute silence was observed as a mark to pay homage to Father of the Nation and other martyrs of 15 August.
A special prayer was also offered for the salvation of the departed souls of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman and other martyrs of the family and also for the prosperity of the country.
