Private channel Somoy TV convincingly won a cricket match by defeating Bangladesh Post. The match was held on Saturday at Moulana Bhasani Hockey Stadium.
Chasing a target of 41, Somoy TV won the match within 2 overs. Bangladesh Post Organised by the Dhaka Reporters’ Unity (DRU), the match was held in the morning as part of the ‘DRU-Pran Media Cup Tournament’.
SM Mizanur Rahman, Ahmed Parvej Khan, Durjoy Roy, Kailash Sarkar, Zakaria Kanchan, Habibullah Mizan and Ehsanul Huq Jasim played for Bangladesh Post while Tushar Abdullah, Ehsan Jewel and Jubayer Faisal, among others, for Somoy TV. Somoy TV won the match and qualified for the second round in the knockout match.
