Expressing solidarity with the ongoing anti-racism and anti-imperialism movement erupted through the US and throughout the world at the murder of George Floyd by the white police, Workers Party of Rajshahi city organised a human chain and meeting in front of Rajshahi College Shahid Minar on Saturday morning.
Presided over by WP leader Advocate Entazul Haque Babu, the human chain meeting was addressed, among others, by General Secretary of Workers party Bangladesh Fazley Hossain Badsha MP as the chief guest, General Secretary of Rajshahi city unit of WP Devbashish Pramanik Debu, Freedom Fighter Abul Kalam Azad, Abdul Martin, nazmul Karim Opu, Moniruddin Panna and Jewel Khan.
WP leader Fazley Hossain Badsha called upon the people of the country to struggle against disparated, imperialistic, racist policy. he added, if the people won in this struggle, the reign of exploitation will be destructed ended and there will be no disparity and inequality among people.
Fazley Hossain Badsha also paid his homage towards the memory of George Floyd by placing floral wreath at the foot of Rajshahi College Shahid Minar. He further said, white people of USA claimed themselves as civilized but they behave unjustly with those black People who have founded the civic society.
He termede US President Donald Trump as a sort of Fascist, Racist and the Imperialist since the US has put sanction unjustly on Iran, Palestine, Cuba, Venezuela and North Korea.
He further mentioned, US wants to rule the rest of the world with its military might. But, now people of the world took to the streets to condemn the racism and the imperialism. Like the wave of Corona pandemic the wave of anti-racist and anti-imperialist movement is also spreading throughout the world. He expressed his solidarity with the ongoing anti-racist and anti-imperialist movement throughout the world.
