The soft opening of Begum Fazilatunnessa Mujib Hall in Shahjalal University of Science and Technology (SUST) in Sylhet will be held today (Sunday).
The total capacity of 480 students in this hall of 120 rooms in four blocks. University Vice-Chancellor Professor Farid Uddin Ahmed will do the soft opening at eleven o'clock.
In last Friday, the students gathered with their belongings in front of the hall this morning with joy and happy moments. After showing their identity cards according to the instructions of the authorities, they entered the hall. After entering the name, the students received the keys of their respective rooms with their fingerprints.
Hall Provost Professor Dr. Candrani Nag said, according to the instructions, the Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina will inaugurate the hall. However, on Sunday (November 12), University Vice-Chancellor Professor Farid Uddin Ahmed will do the soft opening of the hall initially for female students.
