Food Minister Sadhan Chandra Majumder has said, the young men of the country were facing moral degradation due to use of Facebook and the YouTube that is why the students should remain alert during using those and the guardians should also remain vigilant to control their children from their abuse.
Minister Sadhan Chandra Majumder was speaking as the chief guest at a function organised in observance of the Diamond Jubilee of Damkurahat High School at Paba upazila on Saturday noon. The minister said, the students should get the real education so that those can contribute to build Sonar Bangla as desired by Father of the Nation Sheikh Mujibur Rahman. He added, the students should be built as patriots from their early childhood and both the guardians and the students should play an appropriate role in this connection.
Presided over by Abdul Latif, former Additional General Manager of BSCIC, local Member of Parliament Ayen Uddin attended the function as the chief speaker while chairman of Rajshahi Education Board Moqbul Hossain attended the function as special guest. The function was attended, among others, by Paba upazila Chairman Monsur Rahman and Upazila Nirbahi Officer Shahadat Hossain. Ferdous Ali, Headmaster of the school delivered the welcome speech at the function.
