SMC members, teachers cut paddy for poor farmer

The managing committee, teachers and staff of Vandarkhola Sammilani High School harvested paddy for a poor farmer on the call of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina to help the farmers in Jashore’s Keshabpur upazila on Saturday.

Faruk Biswas, a farmer from Bhandarkhola village in Keshabpur upazila, said he was very worried about the ripe paddy in the field due to the labourer-crisis and rain-soaked winds during this lockdown to prevent the transmission of corona virus. 

Rabiul Islam, a member of the managing committee of Bhandarkhola Sammilani Secondary School and convener of Vidyanandakati Union Juba League unit Dr. Amar Kumar Ghosh, Abdus Sabur and Altaf Hossain, donor members Fazle Karim Khan, Vidyotshahi member Mosharraf Hossain Assistant Teachers Abu Dawood and Oziur Rahman, Assistant Maulana Teacher Moniruzzaman, Co Curry teacher Mihir Kumar Das, action teacher Abdur Razzak, office assistant Anichur Rahman and lab assistant Habibur Rahman helped the farmer by cutting ripe paddy from his field.
