Rakibul Alam Chowdhury, Vice President of BGMEA said, "Due to the fact that the commercial officers are not properly informed about the customs and bond regulations, they are facing various complications and obstacles in the import-export activities. In this case, there is no alternative to increase efficiency by gaining proper knowledge about customs and bond regulations.
He said these things at the exchange meeting of BGMEA leaders at Chittagong BGMEA building with the commercial officials of Chittagong garment industry on Sunday afternoon.
Rakibul Alam Chowdhury said, "Due to inflation in the ongoing world economic recession, the garment industry of Bangladesh is currently in a critical situation and despite various obstacles, the garment industry owners have continued their efforts to achieve export targets."
He said, 'Initiatives should be taken to solve the problems by conducting activities collectively. BGMEA's efforts are continuing to identify customs and bond related issues and resolve them quickly.
