Six-lane on Benapole-Jashore Asian Highway demanded

Benapole C&F Agents Association, including five port users' organisations demanded six lane on Benapole-Jashore Asian Highway and cutting down dangerous valueless trees beside the highway.

A press conference was held in this regard at the C&F Agents Association auditorium on Monday. 

President of the organisation Mofizur Rahman Sazan raised a four-point demand at the press conference. It was demanded to expand the bypass road of Benapole port, cut down dangerous trees beside the Benapole-Jashore Asian Highway and plant new trees from their organization, construct 50-bed hospital in the port and Benapole-Jashore highway under construction to 30 feet wide. 

If the 4-points demand is not implemented immediately, Benapole port users will go on strike. Alhaj Nuruzzaman, Senior Co-President of C&F Agents Association and general secretary of Sharsha Upazila Awami League, Alhaj Nasir Uddin, Customs Secretary of the organization and 

General Secretary of Municipal Awami League, Mehedi Hasan, Vice president of Sharsha upazila and Abdul Latif , Alamgir Siddique, Sajjadul Islam Sourab were speech at the press conference. After Eid, 5 port users organizations will go on strike, declared at the press conference.
