Six persons including the drivar of a private car were killed when a bus and the private car collide head-on infront of Bhaluka Government College on Dhaka-Mymensingh highway around 9-00 am on Saturday.
Local sources informed a bus of Imam Paribahan was moving towards Dhaka from Haluaghat. In the morning around 9 am, the driver of the bus lost control of the vehicle and collided head-on with a Mymensingh bound private car near the college gate area killing six passengers of the car including two children, two women and two males of the car on the spot. The identity of the victims was not available immediately.
Police and Fire Service personnel were conducting rescue operation on the spot, informed Main Uddin, Officer-in-charg of Bhaluka Model Police station.
