“BNP and its ally parties didn't do any significant development work for the country. Our Honourable Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina is doing hard for the eye-catching development of Bangladesh. Awami League (AL) government has produced electricity throuhout the villages of the country. Al government is working for the poor people of the country. I urges everyone to give attention on the proper development of the country avoiding of all clashes and jealousy," said, Planning Minister MA Mannan while addressing an inauguration programme as the chief guest of crop saving embankment work of Nalua Hawor of Vurakhali village under Chilaura Holdipur union of Jogonnathpur upazila in Sunamganj district on Friday noon.
He also said those who love Pakistan, should be aware that Bangladesh will never be Pakistan again. Nobody will be benefitted under the name of rligion. These Pakistani lovers are creating extremism and bring scam for our country. They are disrupting of our present development.
He said to the farmers of the haor, 'You have to save your haor and all have to cooperate for building embankment of the haor. He encourages farmers to produce paddy in a short time.
He also said, winter has arrived. Poor people are suffering immensely. Our government is providing blankets and other necessary winter wares for the poor peiople. However, Jagannathpur upazila administration and Water Development Board jointly organised the programme while UNO Mohammad Mahfujul Alom Masum presided over the programme and Deputy Commisssioner of Sunamganj Mohammad Abdul Ahad was present as the special guest.
At that time, Executive Engineer of Sunamganj Water Development Board Shafiqul Islam, ASP Hayatun Nabi Sayem, Jagannathpur Upazila Chairman Ataur Rahman, General Secretary of Upazila Awami League Rejaul Karim Rizu along with others wrere also present.
