Sub-Inspector Khazu Mia, posted at the Cumilla EPZ police outpost under Cumilla Sadar Dakkhin Model Police Station, has been honoured with the prestigious President's Police Medal (PPM). Reflecting on the recognition, SI Khazu stated, “While serving at the EPZ outpost, I arrested an armed youth and brought several drug traffickers to justice. My actions were never driven by the hope of reward, but by a deep sense of duty and responsibility.”
He further noted, “Recently, a local gang was snatching mobile phones from factory workers in the EPZ area. After arresting several individuals and taking legal action, such incidents have significantly declined. Many perpetrators have now gone into hiding.”
SI Khazu credited his success to the guidance and encouragement of Inspector Md. Saiful Islam, in-charge of the EPZ outpost. He also expressed heartfelt gratitude to Officer-in-Charge Md. Selim of the Sadar Dakkhin Model Police Station for his continued support.
“I remain committed to serving with integrity,” said SI Khazu, “and I seek the prayers and cooperation of my fellow officers and local residents during my service.”
